Emar Lakes Provincial Park is comprised of a chain of large and small lakes, potholes and wetlands, enclosed by alpine forest. The chain of lakes offer excellent opportunities for canoeists and fishers and wilderness camping is permitted within the park.
Green Lake is a wide shallow lake protected as a provincial park. Swimming, boating, fishing, waterskiing, paddling, and horseback riding are some of the parks more popular activities. There are three campsites in the park: Emerald Bay, Sunset View and Little Arrowhead with 121 sites.
Located northeast of 100 Mile House, Ruth Lake Provincial Park is a day-use park that is popular among locals for swimming, kayaking, canoeing and fishing. There is a small beach with a swimming dock as well as a boat launch on Ruth Lake. Camping facilities are not provided but there are pit toilets in the park.
Big Bar Lake Provincial Park is dotted with hills, lakes and ponds offering good local habitat for wildlife. For people the park is used for bird watching, swimming, boating, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and hiking.
Moose Valley Provincial Park is a 2,322 hectare park littered with lakes and wetlands. Located outside of 100 Mile House, this park protects a chain of 12 small lakes, which are popular with paddlers and anglers. With a canoe, the wetlands and sphagnum bogs can be further explored, along with the flourishing aquatic plants and animal species that call this park home.
Flat Lake Provincial Park is a popular destination for canoe trips, with the Davis Lake Chain allowing for day trips as well as multiple day excursions. During the winter months the park's main attraction becomes cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
Canim Beach Provincial Park is small but offers a variety of activities. Visitors can water-ski, swim, hike, canoe, kayak, boat and fish. Canim Falls are not to be missed and an old mine site is also located in the park near Hendricks Lake.
This provincial park contains the very popular Lac La Hache, also known as Kumatakwa or Axe Lake. Potential activities include swimming, hiking, waterskiing, canoeing, kayaking, boating and fishing for kokanee and Lake Trout. The park features a playground, a boat launch and 83 campsites.
